Product & Profile Questions

Your profile is like your digital player card on the web. It hosts all of your stats, bio and other information that scouts, recruiters and teams look for, and its controlled by you! Upload your videos and other vital information, and then share with whoever you want, directly from your profile to promote yourself to teams and get more opportunities!

Hockey Profiles was created by former hockey players turned current coaches and scouts based on what they discovered to be a gap between players and teams.

If you want to get opportunities, you have to be recognized by scouts, which means you have to promote yourself, or else they will never know who you are.

Once you've registered, you will get a confirmation email to make sure that your email is correct. Then, you'll be able to create your athlete profile. Use the simple step-by-step wizard to add all your deets. After you've got it looking good, make sure you Publish it so that it is available online. Then you're ready to share it far and wide. You only have to subscribe if you want to get unlimited page views and extra content features.

Free plans allow you to add basic information as well as limited sharing. With the paid plans, you gain access to all the features available, including uploading unlimited videos and adding references and an unlimited amount of sharing.

Our easy-to-use step-by-step tools make it really easy to set up your profile. Upload images, add in stats and list your achievements, all without any programming knowledge or special tools.

Its super easy. Once you set up your profile in 10 min or less, you can click share and add emails of whoever you would like to share it with right from within the app! They will receive an email with a preview of your profile and an invite to view. Once they view it, you will be to see who has opened your invite.

We might be able to help you out. Currently, we offer the ability to share any publicly available YouTube or Vimeo video. If it can be uploaded there, you can share it. We're happy to offer tips and tricks on how to best present yourself in video format (and we have some blog posts planned talking about exactly that). Have questions? We are adding the ability for recruiters to search and save player profiles to add to their watchlist. Recruiters can filter through layers of information to discover players that fit their crieteria.

Free Trial Questions

We offer a seven (7) day free trial with full functionality. To take advantage of it, you have to validate a current credit card to ensure that we can process your payment at the end of the trial. You can always cancel anytime before risk free. Your profile will be set to the basic Free tier and we will keep any additional information you've added just in case you change your mind.

To allow you to use all of our paid functionality, we have to make sure that we can charge you for a regular plan. We take your credit card number but don't charge it until your trial is complete. You can go to the Subscriptions page and see any upcoming charges or change your plan anytime.

The day after your trial ends our payment partner, Stripe, will automatically charge you based on the product you have selected. You can see upcoming payments on the Subscriptions page and downgrade or cancel your account at any time.

Your Account

Hey, stuff happens. If you need to change your email, log in to your account and select the Personal Details menu item from the top menu bar. This will allow you to change your email address on file. We'll reset the email verification and send a new confirmation email to the new address.

If you want to cancel, just go to your subscription or setting page and select the option to cancel your account. You'll be asked if you're really sure that you want to cancel and that's that. Need help? Just contact us at

If you've subscribed to a plan, we keep your account on file until your paid term is over. If you're on the free plan, your account will be turned off immediately. Unless you specifically ask, we keep your profile data in case you want to come back. If you ask for it to be deleted, we remove all data and you will have to start over if you register again.

Sorry, but we don't offer any refunds. If you decide that you want to take your profile offline, you can do that after you have logged in. Or, you can close your account and your profile will no longer be available to the public. You can downgrade whenever you want, but if you have a valid, paid plan, it will take effect at your next billing date.

Billing & Payment Questions

Try a NexPro basic profile for free, no credit card required. You can also try out our paid advanced profile with a 7 day Free Trial. After your trial expires, you can choose a pricing plan that suits the needs of your journey as an athlete.

NexPro currently accepts Visa, MasterCard, and American Express for all orders. This includes pre-paid or gift cards from those card providers.

NexPro does not require credit card information to set up a free profile. Note that there are limits to the features and functionality of our free plan.

When you start a free trial, you won't be billed until after the trial period is complete. You will then be automatically charged for your selected plan. A recurring charge will be created for the next billing date (monthly or annually) and next payment will be charged at that point. As we will always charge for upcoming service, there are never prorated charges, just the simple monthly amount. If you upgrade or change plans, your new subscription plan begins as soon as your payment is complete.

Using your code is super easy! Once you have started your Free Trial, go to the Manage Subscriptions page. At the top right, enter your coupon code and click on "add". If your code is valid, you will get your Upcoming Payment will update immediately.

Yes! We offer a 10% discount when you select the annual plan.

Our plans will automatically renew, unless you cancel your current subscription. The renewal is always on the anniversary (monthly or yearly) of your start date and we'll email you a few days before the payment is processed.

For all Canadian customers (we check based on IP address) we charge in CAD. For all US or international customers, we charge in USD.

You can use NexPro anywhere in the world. However we only support North American leagues at this point in our team selection menus. You can add other teams using the "Other Affiliation..." option at the bottom of the drop down lists.

We currently charge sales tax (GST, PST and HST) for Canadian residents only. We include it in all published prices.

Security Questions

NexPro uses a third-party payment processor, Stripe, to handle online payments. We don't save your payment information at any point. There isn't a lot of other data that we keep that isn't part of your public profile, but what we have, we keep a lid on through standard SSL and our encrypted, password-protected database. A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser from a web site and is stored on your computer's hard drive. If your browser's preferences allow it (most browsers are installed with cookies enabled), each web site can send its own cookie to your browser. To protect your privacy, cookies do not store personal information but instead use anonymous unique identifiers. Each web site can only access the cookie they have sent to your hard drive, not the cookies sent by other web sites.

You need to enable cookies on your browser to enable certain features on NexPro. Cookies need to be enabled on your browser so you can save your account information. If you share your computer with others and you do not want them to have access to your account information, be sure to log out before leaving your computer unattended. You can log out by clicking on the Logout link at the top of the page.

Can't remember your password? Or just want to change it regularly? (as many information security professionals recommend).

If you're logged in, you can change your password on your Personal Details page. Just go to the menu link at top right and select it. On that page, you can change your password and save it.

Not logged in? Just go to the Sign In page and select the Forgot Your Password link below the login form.
